The Five Glens Arts Festival is delighted to announce that Ireland Professor of Poetry, Paula Meehan, will now be judging the shortlisted poems for The Dermot Healy Poetry Competition. She very graciously accepted our invitation after the sad and unexpected passing of Dermot who will be so sadly missed, and we are very proud to have her onboard.
In light of this, we are extending the closing date slightly from Tuesday 15th July to Sunday 20th July. For those of you in need of inspiration to rouse those muses here is a sample of Paulas evocative work “Buying Winkles”
